Rashmika Mandanna Shares BTS Photo From Thama Sets, Reveals How Director Can Make ‘Vampire’ Happy

Rashmika Mandanna is currently busy with the shoot of her next film Thama with Ayushmann Khurrana. The horror comedy will be released this year and the extensive shoot is going on. Rashmika has been sharing a lot of BTS photos and keeping fans updated. Recently, she shared a night shoot photo and also revealed how her director is keeping Thama (vampire) happy.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Rashmika shared a photo featuring director, Aditya A. Sarpotdar, sitting on a plastic chair and monitoring the shoot on a screen. She wrote: “My director…. Making me shoot night shoot every time…. Ice bucket …. Story of my life." Resharing the photo, the director commented, “Where mortals fear the night, the vampires find their power.’ Rashmika replied, “Wise words. Knows exactly how to make a Thama (vampire) happy!"

Recently, Ayushmann Khurrana shared a video watching the ICC Champion Trophy final match. He was seen glued to the screen, anxiously watching the final moments of the India vs New Zealand match. As victory was sealed, he broke into cheers, with the rest of the crew joining in. “Shoot ruk jaati hai jab India jeet jaata hai!" Ayushmann captioned the post, suggesting that the team paused the film’s shooting to witness India’s winning moment. Prior to this, the actor shared another picture from his car while travelling for the shoot. Dressed in the Indian jersey, Ayushmann could be seen watching the cricket match as he added, “Shoot pe jaa raha hoon! Mera match dekhna nahi rukna chahiye."
Earlier in December last year, Ayushmann kicked off the shooting for his upcoming film, Thama. Taking to Instagram, she shared a glimpse of the warm welcome he received on the first day along with a card from the makers. “Dear Ayushmann, It’s fang-tastic to have you on board Maddock’s horror comedy universe. Who better than ‘Ayushmann’ to play the un-dead THAMA? We believe this is a role you will love to sink your teeth into!" the card read. The Bala actor, in a press note, also shared his feelings about joining the universe. “I am excited that Dinesh Vijan felt that it was the best time for me to enter his universe with Thama. After Stree 2 became the biggest Bollywood film, I am even more thrilled to be a part of it. As it moves forward, I feel more responsible for giving a memorable experience to audiences," he said as per ANI.
On the work front, Rashmika was last seen in Chhaava with Vicky Kaushal. The film shattered all records and is still going strong at the box office. Her next film Sikandar with Salman Khan is also lined up for release this year. It will release on March 30.
